I’ve been idle for so many days.
It’s really hard to be a student leader. It’s really hard to accomplish heck loads of extra-curricular activities.

I’ve been out of our school due to my participation in interschool competitions. The outback of all these class tardiness and absences are–no scores for quizzes in my profs’ class cards, no graded recitations, no, no, no, don’t phunk with my heart.

I’ve joined the ATPAST Regional schools press conference in Tagaytay City. Because of lack of concentration, i only got 7th place in Comic Strip drawing. Lost in Graphic Illustration and Poetry writing (for some reasons which I really don’t understand…).

Maybe He knows His reasons for me to lose the competitions…

Maybe He knows that I should submit my drawings for the 3rd episode of my comic series ‘Canvas’ which for the past few months I have already forgotten the script of the characters. Maybe He knows that I should submit all my news program lineups, radio newsscript translations, and news reports to Jun del Rosario. Maybe He knows I should at least take a sneak peak on the Pagemaker file of our January-Feb mag. Maybe He knows I should ask Sir Margallo that I haven’t taken his midterms. Maybe He knows I need to edit our short movie flick’s script. Maybe He knows I should focus on my studies and refrain to adhere merely on my extra-curricular stuff. Maybe He knows I need not to be deliquent to my academics, for I have been depriving myself to my real ’self’– me being studious, me being a bookworm, me being superior–worse, me being a geek like what I was during my highschool days.

But I guess all of these experiences are part of my incomplete metamorphosis. You know, egg-larva-nymph-cockroach life cycle. Hehehe.

Don’t wanna be the geek me. I want to wake the normal Neil inside of my thin subcutaneous layers. Besides, I’m just human, and I have a firm medium-sized gluteus maximus.

Hope that I could manage it.
