NOTHING BUT RANDOM

Surveysayscash

I have no acceptable excuses to give another stupid apology. I’ve been apologizing on every post that I write. I’m full. I just need to burp now.

I was lazy busy. Yeah right, to tell you the truth, I am too lazy to blog nowadays due to unavailability of internet here on the hills of Indang, Cavite. Joke. Internet cafe’s just right next door. I just didn’t feel like updating even if my last public exposure (aside from school and municipal foo-foos) at Taste Asia Blogfest. (will post about it later even if it’s uber late already) is worth blogging. Ugh.

It’s just that until now, I’m still busy (I mean the real thing). I have a lot of work to do. I mean a HELL LOTS of work, like studying (sue me), doing the big laundry, taking care of my freshie brothers in our apartment, generating my own weekly allowance for my brothers who depend on my ATM account–oh yes, I was busy generating my own weekly allowance.

Didn’t I tell you guys that I’m broke already?

BROKE. Bi ar ow dobolyu key, that I couldn’t even afford to buy Coke Sakto. Or that all time fave Hany.

No, seriously I’m not really broke. It’s just that my remaining balance in my ATM has only minutes left to doomsday. I can’t make hingi pera from my mom that’s why I have to (sulk) use my prize money for our everyday expenses. (My mom seems to be in bankruptcy as well after paying a large sum of money to my aunt in Paranaque).

I could still eat food. Um, that is two cups of rice plus a variety of canned goods and noodles. You know, I need to maximize my 200 pesos for the whole week.

Well of course, that’s impossible so I made a small business to suffice my *ehem school requirements. I cater MP3 uploads for 1 peso per song. That’s right. One freaking piso per song. I also do regular audio CDs for 2 pesos per song. So if one CD can fit it approx. 18-20 songs, that’s 40 pesos. With the playlist, CD, and CD case. But for big time pirates here, I also do bulky installer download for 75 pesos per CD. Or Korean movie torrenting for a hundred pesos. Hahaha. Piracy is the best policy.

Profitable? As long as my customers pay for my services on time, I can feed my pets with branded dog food. Haha. Oh my poor brothers.

OMG. What have I disclosed (gulp). Hope Ate Ems won’t read this or I’m DEAD.

PISSED OFF

My hands itched for some drawing so I created one.

imageii.jpg

Pfft. If only I had a real baseball bat. Or I would’ve drawn an M16 for these jerks.

Friday, after a full load of school crap on my back (that is my notebook with lots of lectures and projects lined up and saved neatly on MS OneNote) juicing out my wallet, I opt to go straight to Trece Martirez city to get some cash. Of course, I need to hide myself (again) from the crowd since it feels weird when everybody’s looking at me. I fled to the nearest ATM, grabbed a cutesy 300 pesos, stared at the receipt, and then sobbed.

Frustration swallowed me then. I haven’t bought anything for myself and now, my cold cash is nearing its end (til my Dad’s next remittance :-)). But I have no choice. I’m hungry. And my brothers are hungry. More importantly, I don’t want my mom to borrow money from my neighbors who are all concerned about the interest they’ll get upon payment.

I entered the bus while converting two pieces of Bavarian donuts to salty porridge. It was an easy task since I can keep the porridge fresh inside my stomach. After a while, I heard one ranting something loudly and annoyingly repeatedly.

“Tropa!”

I stopped chewing.

“Tropa! Tropa!”

I stopped breathing.

“Tropa! Tropa! Pengeng balato! Oy, nanalo ng handred tawsan. At laptap!”

I stopped stopping and looked at a direction where he’s supposed to sit. Okay. I looked provocatively with my mouth full of chunks. Silence there was.

“Tropa! Tropa! Pengeng balato! Pamasahe lang!”

The chanting went louder. Ugh!

I couldn’t stop praying for and cursing him to stop rapping like a frog. It was like, uh, 20 minutes and then he was later accompanied by his fellow frogs and ribbitted the same song that made me and the nearby passengers bullied and disturbed.

Insolent frogs. They should have not worn their school uniforms before entering the bus or I might have thrown flies and mosquitoes trapped inside my bag to fill their noisy mouths.

Ugh. They just don’t know.

I only have 2000 pesos remaining in my bank account, imbecile pricks!

BUILDING AN ORGANIZATION

I’m no-gooder at student organizations even if I have already put myself on such positions from the President to the lowly Escort. Everytime I hold into those positions, I couldn’t stop thinking about my irresponsibility or unfailing time ‘mis’management. I always end up feeling unaccomplished or unreliable even if I did something worthy of recording as an organizational feat. And then, I just stopped joining orgs. That’s what I thought.

Last year, I was elected as the Vice President for External Affairs of our university’s SAMASKOM (Samahan ng Masang Komunikasyon, a derivative of UP-CMC’s Samahan ng mga Mag-aaral sa Komunikasyon) because I have no choice.

Ningas cugon. We realized having seniors as the heads of organizations are untrustworthy of managing organizations. After realizing our senior executives are irresponsible, the recognition of our org didn’t push through. We lost our constitution and bylaws (and our seniors didn’t even care about making another one). Since last year, our course has no affiliated organizations at all.

I just went with the flow. I got tired of doing nothing, assigned with nothing, and joining a ‘nothing’ after the haywire I had with our student pub.

Now, I am rebuilding our organization from scratch. I guess it’s my time to do something. To put a legacy in our department aside from winning a hundred thousand pesos and made our school popular that greatly influenced the increase of our school’s enrollment percentage.

I am going to revive SAMASKOM. A brand new SAMASKOM.

I have already drafted our new consti and bylaws. Now, it’s up to the rest of our whole Mass Comm studentry to continue rebuilding our org.

To all Mass Comm students/student leaders, help me with this endeavor. I don’t have any contacts from you. Help me. Help me.

I thought I was advocating piracy. Oh well. I think you are committed to my motto as well.

“Piracy is the best policy”.

No! Don’t kill my account! No! Else I’ll spam you!

Lol :-P

waw! parehas pala tayo ng raket. i have a CD burning business din (been running it for 4 years na) same as yours. although i’m not charging evry song for 2 pesos, 18-20 songs that could fit in the CD with minimal front page design on the cover cd and playlist is fixed at 50 pesos. i don’t provide them with my available list of mp3’s so they can choose what to burn. I just let them hand over the playlist (complete with artist and title) so I can download it from Limewire (if ever I don;t have that mp3 on my drive). Haha. I knew it was illegal yet I’m still doing it. wahaha. Hope Boss Edu won’t read this. haha.

Kaya mo yan, you could figure it out on how to maximize your money.

Linchak. Me DOMAIN ka na rin. Wahihihihi! GO Elmo! GO Elmo!

By the way, I hope my super murang CD burning spreads soon. I have a lot of customers lined up for complete album downloads, installers, etc. Now, I’m finishing my Encarta 2007 piracy (Microsoft wouldn’t mind. I’m just a lowly blogger who wanted to make a profit out of Microsoft monopoly. Hehehehe).

I do the same thing–have the customers choose the song on their own thinking. For the MP3s, as long as they have their cables ready, I can upload as many as they want (of course, piso per song pero parang gusto kong mag-raise ng 1.50. Hehehehe)

Yes. Busy busy busy. (And until now, i’m still busy downloading installer files and reading novels to feed my apparently vocabulary-drowsy brain.

Ugh. Yes. They are still not over that ish. And I’m owned.

About the org, uh, I’m done with the bylaws. Now, it’s up to the hectic sked.

Neil, ang mura naman masyado ng music business mo! Taas mo na ng konti yung prics

you shouldn’t assign seniors in all your major positions. They’d be too busy making sure they graduate!

its kinda uncomfortable for me to write my full name but i think i have no choice.. haha.. its really not that easy to have a same-namer or whatever..

well, i’ve again visited your blog kuya neil and again envied you on having your personal regularly-visited blog with a paid domain name.. haha.. (i think that’s one of my main problems.. can’t afford buying even a $1.00/year domain name..)

you’re lucky kuya neil.. haha.. having worked in Jollibee made me have my own atm card.. haha.. but you are darn lucky kuya neil, having 2000 bucks on yours, ’cause i only got a remaining 75.something balance on mine.. (that’s why i always wanna check it alone.. haha.. sobrang dyahe..)

well, as for the samaskom, having read your well-made announcement (i don’t remember the day? haha..) on that afternoon, i was like, yeah.. buhay ulit ang samaskom and i really wanna be a part of it.. and fortunately, i did..

good luck sating lahat.. i’ve contacted kuya oteph na for some external affairs “duties” na nakita ko sa newspaper.. he’ll be telling you about it as soon as possible..

being the chairperson of the info and pr, i hope and wish that i’d be more educated with the hows and whats of doing a “real” website.. hope you could help me this time.. hehe..

nga pala, i’d be the one nalang to apologize for what happened last GA.. biruan lang talaga un na nagkagulu lang.. hehe..

and one thing, i was kinda shocked with charlie’s post sa forum.. i also do not understand him really.. he makes my nape itchier than it was before..

well, again, the best of luck to us.. hope to talk to you about what i can do for the org personally soon… God bless..

(i apologize for the trying-hard full-of-grammatical erroring here.. its not bad to practice.. hehe..)

I’ll inform our secretary to forward my messages to your committee once I set the sked of our executive meeting, ok? :-)

God bless to all of us!
