KABATAAN is definitely on my list. Hell, it’s probably the only party list that makes sense, y’know. Full-on action and minimal bullshit, if you get I’m trying to say. ;-p

Some say implanted ang karamihan (ng mga bubuyog at mga paruparo ni Poncio) just to keep their numbers ‘outnumber’ the Congress. Their representatives (per partylist) will, of course in the near future, vote for, let’s say, the passage of impeachment.

Perhaps if you have a chance to make pasyal inside the Lower House, you can scoop a lot of bills proposed by some of these partylists. For now, I cannot disclose.

Note: yung iba lang. Yung iba lang sa kanila. Alam kong karamihan sa mga inaakusahang pekeng partylist ay… well, pakana lang ni Gloria.

I’m going to vote for PBA. Athletes need more support than a bunch of rallying kids who do nothing but rant.

The one thing I should’ve done before at ES2PIDO | Estudyanteng Pinoy Dormitorian commented:

They rant because they know that they should rant rather than Friendsterize. It’s because they are ’sensible’. Sensible that they know how to exercise their rights, instead of gluing their arses on soft comfy upholstery for Koreanovelas and clamor then clamor and more clamor that the Philippines is democrazy. It’s not just being informed that we are (insert uber many inefficiencies, discrepancies, inadequacies, controversies, idiocies, etc. here). These people you call rallyists who “do nothing but rant” know more about the sociopolitical crisis in our republic than you. Be proud that at least they collect to represent us rather than wait for the government to implant nuisances in the Congress. Am I right?

You know what I mean. They so-called ‘rant’ because they have to. If not, “welcome to a period of more consequences.”

That’s lame.

Anyways, good that you think PBA really represents the marginalized athletes, and that your vote will count for their position. If only the government knows what the youth and the athletes want, they would not effort to run for the congress. Kainis lang talaga that the government is either allocating a puny of their funds, or that the government does not support them at all :-(

Gawd, I can’t believe some people, really. I don’t have anything against people who won’t vote for KABATAAN kasi depende naman sa interes mo yan eh. Shempre iboboto mo yung party-list na nagsusulong ng interes mo. And in my (our) case, education, social services, and youth involvement in nation-building talaga. I’d have rooted for AKAPIN (disabled) kung wala lang ang KABATAAN.

Kaso it’s another story to generalize and say that we do nothing but rant. The government’s giving us the reasons to rant. Kung alam niyo lang kasi kung BAKIT BAKIT BAKIT kami nagra-rant. Kaso, yun nga, since some people don’t know the socio-political crises in our country, okay lang sa inyo. Isa pa, dati di naman tayo pinapakinggan. Now they have absolutely no excuse to snub the needs of the Filipino youth.

Try integrating with different poverty-stricken communities, baka malaman mo pa kung bakit kami ganito. What we’re doing is for a cause. What we’re doing is better than gushing about whoever’s on TV and fantasizing about him all day. It’s better than being a Tim Yap — doing nothing but party and saying that he doesn’t care about poverty and hunger since he’s so well-off anyway. It’s better than having sex all day.

On second thought, nothing beats having sex all daaaay looong. :D

@Neil, read this veeery fun string of comments. I’m appalled.

That’s what I said, those rallyists do nothing but rant. Rant and rant AND DO NOTHING BUT RANT.

They only criticize the government’s faults without addressing the faults of their fellow Communists. Have these kids protested on the businesses that were closed because of Communist threat? Probably not. Have these kids protested on the wrongdoings that their fellow Communists such as Revolutionary Fees and Campaign Permits? Probably not.

They only rant and hype on anything that they perceive as negative on the government without addressing the positive things that the government provided to the people. Have you heard of OTAP that has been helping small enterprises in the provinces? Probably not.

Ask the nominees of Kabataan what laws they can do, what ACTIONS they can do to make our society better, and why they deserve to nominate the marginalized youth, not how they can overthrow the government.

Nakakatuwa!

Sorry. I’m not from UP. Hehehe. I’m the only Cavite State University blogger here in the world. Really.

Hay, so far, so good. No pichay on the list. :-)

Good! Very good. At least not one admin-backed partylist. Hehehe.

Why blame everything to these Communists? Don’t you think there are a HELL lot of reasons why companies close down aside from these armed communist issues? Oh, I can enumerate: poorly educated masses. Political fraud. MILF. MNLF. Jemaah-Islamiyah. Mike Arroyo. Chavit Singson. Joseph Estrada, and a hundred others. Heck, you’re sweeping everything to what economists say contribute only 5% of our investors’ reasons “WHY” they don’t invest here in the Philippines. History says much about our apparent ‘animosity’, and that is why we cannot even invest in ourselves that WE are haywiring with each other.

Huwaw. The OTAP. Sure, it sounds delicious. Lol. I’ve heard of it… just now; thank you for the info. Gawd, I don’t know about that. Why? The government cannot boast about it. It’s like a ratio of 1 is to a thousand, winning the negating latter a favor.

One more thing—KABATAAN to overthrow the government? I don’t think so. It’s NOT their job. It’s not the responsibility of a single youth representative, anyway. :-D As of now, they haven’t garnered enough votes to take a seat in the Lower House.
